V&A Waterfront

After another massive breakfast at our hotel, we decided to start exploring the city right away. Cape town is super easy to navigate. We went first to V&A Waterfront which was around 15mins away from our hotel.

The Waterfront is lined with live shows, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, craft markets and food markets with the breath-taking view of Table Mountain in the background.

The Watershed

Looking around, we felt the colour explosions of the African culture mixed with the European influence. This authentic and stunning craft market has over 150 shops local design! It's buzzing with unique arts. As we walked around, I gifted myself a lovely rose quartz.

2 Oceans Aquarium

Located in V&A Waterfront, the 2 Oceans Aquarium is a must visit in Cape Town.

It's time to get creative! Low light photography is one of my favorite challenges. I switched to a 50mm lens to capture great and clear shots.

We had a really great moments. Didn't know that watching medusa was so calming & relaxing haha!

If you follow me on instagram stories during my trip to South Africa, you would know my obsession with food.

We discovered vistamarina. A sophisticated and luxury restaurant with a splendid view from table mountain and the marina. we could see seal swimming through the quay. It almost felt like we were in a cruise ship.

We were shocked... pleasantly shocked by the price that didn't fit the ultra- chic surroundings at all! Even better, food and drinks were at half price on that day. How can it get better!

I opted for maki with avo, california rolls with salmon and a frozen mojito and Poussin opted for steak- medium rare and a coke.

The frozen mojito... incredibly refreshing!

Cape Wheel

After this amazing lunch, we continued our visit in the waterfront and soon reached another landmark of Cape Town; the Cape Wheel.

As you may know, I have a huge travel sickness. So at first, I was kinda...hmm might not be the right place to puke. But then, I knew I would have so much regretted it.

So we hopped onto the Cape Wheel and enjoyed the spectacular 360 view of Cape Town at 100m above the ground.

We ended finally our lovely day with Mexican food and watched the movie named Coco.

Share your experience if you have been in Cape Town!
Good luck along your creative way
