Plan with me: Bullet journal setup for August 2019

Ahoy there! Here is my Bullet Journal spread for August 2019. I have been busy lately that my previous Bullet Journal spread was pretty minimalist. I kept it simple. However, I still highly recommend to practice "bujo" (bullet journal) to keep track of what you are achieving or want to achieve.

This month, I've been a little bit fancy & took more time drawing & adding details. I even have goodies for you. Read till the end!

JIOI

By the way, I'm so proud of all the athletes that have performed at the JIOI. I could not believe we won guys!  #alemoris #krouink #jioi  So proud to be Mauritian! koze moris!

Okay, let's go back to the topic at hand! So, the reason I put some effort that month on my Bujo was simply because I was feeling motivated, hyper & full of energy. Maybe because we WON the jioi! Or maybe it's the wine... No alcohol kids!

Theme

The theme that month was not yet determined at the beginning. I was looking for inspiration on Pinterest, then I started to draw random things that were in front of me. So that became the theme for that month: "drawing random things".

"When I see a white piece of paper, I feel I've got to draw"

This month, my bujo contains:

  • Monthly tracker
  • Monthly goals
  • Blog planner
  • Habit Tracker
  • Brain dump
  • Meal planning
  • Expense tracker
  • Weekly spread

Last month, I wrote my daily gratitude in my daily to do list. I got to read them often if it's on a page I would go frequently. It helps my brain to focus on the positives. The gratitude has definitely some serious power!

There it is. My August bujo. As I mentioned earlier in that blog, I made some goodies. A weekly planner & August calender. It's FREE!

Hope my little illustrations will bring you some woot woot to your screen during the month of August.

Good luck along your creative way
Laurie
